Fablora is a story app for children ages 2 to 10. Children’s privacy is our highest priority. This policy explains what data is collected, how it’s used, and how it’s protected.
What we collect
Fablora collects only the minimum data needed to function:
- Account information. The parent’s Sign in with Apple account. The email address is used only for account management.
- Child profile. Name, age, and interests provided by the parent — used only to generate personalized stories.
- Generated stories. Story text and illustrations created in the app are stored on our servers so you can revisit them.
- Anonymous usage data. Performance and crash data, anonymized and unlinked to any identifiable child.
Protections for children
Fablora is designed in compliance with Apple’s Kids Category rules, COPPA, and GDPR Article 8:
- No personal information is collected directly from children — only the parent provides profile data.
- No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs run in the kid-facing surface.
- The app does not direct children to external websites.
- No location data is collected.
- A child’s information is never shared with any third party.
COPPA (United States)
Fablora is designed to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). All personal information about a child is provided by a parent through their own Apple-authenticated account. Parents may review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child’s information at any time by emailing hello@muhammedkilinc.com.
GDPR Article 8 (EU / UK / EEA)
In the EU and UK, Fablora processes a child’s information only after a parent or legal guardian provides consent through the in-app sign-in flow. The parent may withdraw consent at any time by deleting the account.
How we use data
Collected data is used only to:
- Generate stories appropriate for the child’s age and interests.
- Store the story library and keep it accessible.
- Improve app performance and reliability.
- Manage subscriptions through the Apple App Store.
Third-party services
- Sign in with Apple — Authentication.
- Supabase — Secure data storage and backend infrastructure.
- RevenueCat — Subscription management on top of the Apple App Store.
- AI providers (for story generation) — Story text and illustrations are generated via large-language and image models. Prompts contain only the child’s first name and selected interests; no contact information is transmitted.
Personal data is not shared with any other third party.
Data storage, retention, and transfers
Data is stored encrypted on managed cloud infrastructure. Our processors may process data outside your country and rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for international transfers. Access is limited to authorized systems and the developer. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed.
