Privacy Terms Support

Operator. Skedra is operated by Muhammed Kılınç, an independent developer based in Türkiye. Contact: hello@muhammedkilinc.com.

In short

  • We collect the minimum needed to run Skedra: your sign-in info, the schedule and tasks you create, and anonymous diagnostics.
  • We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with advertising networks.
  • You can delete your account and all data from inside the app — or by emailing us.
  • Wherever you live (EU, UK, California, Türkiye, elsewhere), the rights below apply.

This Privacy Policy explains how Skedra (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Skedra app (the “Service”).

Information we collect

  • Account information. Email address, display name, and profile photo provided during Sign in with Apple or another supported sign-in method.
  • User-generated content. Your class schedule, courses, assignments, grades, study sessions, milestones, and any messages or notes you create in social features.
  • Social relationships. Data about users you follow or who follow you in Skedra’s social features.
  • Diagnostics and analytics. Performance data, anonymous usage events, and crash reports captured via Firebase to improve stability and quality.
  • Push tokens. Device tokens used to deliver reminders and alerts. Push is opt-in.

How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Service.
  • Sync your data across your devices.
  • Enable optional social features (following friends, shared study sessions).
  • Deliver reminders, deadline alerts, and other notifications you’ve enabled.
  • Monitor for, and act on, violations of our Terms of Use.

Legal bases (EU / UK / EEA)

Where GDPR applies, we process data on the following bases:

  • Contract — to provide the Service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests — to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and improve the product with anonymous diagnostics.
  • Consent — for push notifications and any optional analytics.

Third-party services

Skedra uses the following third-party services:

  • Sign in with Apple — Authentication.
  • Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Analytics) — Hosting, data storage, anonymous diagnostics. Operated by Google.
  • Apple App Store (StoreKit 2) — Subscription management.

We do not share your data with advertising networks. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Data storage, retention, and transfers

Data is stored encrypted on managed cloud infrastructure. Access is limited to authorized systems and the developer. Our processors (Apple, Google) may process data outside your country; both rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for international transfers. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within a reasonable period.

Your rights

Everyone — regardless of where they live — can request access, correction, export, or deletion of their data by emailing hello@muhammedkilinc.com. You can also delete your account and all associated data directly in Skedra → Settings → Account → Delete Account.

EU / UK / EEA residents (GDPR)

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw any consent you previously gave.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

You have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • Delete personal information we hold about you.
  • Opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising, but you have this right regardless.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Türkiye residents (KVKK)

Skedra operates in compliance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data. Turkish residents have the rights granted under Article 11 of KVKK, including access, rectification, deletion, and complaint to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).

Children

Skedra is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email where appropriate.
